AMERICAN ELECTIONS -THE FINAL COUNT DOWN

Its the final count down between Presidential Nominees - Democratic Barak Obama and Republican John McCain . Just a few more days to go and it will be all over . Its been a long hard slug for this pair . THE Big Question is who gets the much chased prize come November 4th . May the Best / Lucky man win . If the Polls are anything to go by , it would seem that one of them will need a few Hail Marys to grab his goal . That one person is McCain , if you are to believe the polls . Obama has consistently maintained a 5 week *8 Point Lead which has gradually been whittled down by a point or 2 as a result of McCain /Palin's sustained vitriolic , scare-mongering, negative campaigning . An accusation of Obama as Socialist has led him to accuse McCain of being bereft of worth while policy ideas and would even be labelled Socialist for " sharing sandwiches in Kindergarten " .

McCain has been accused of ochestrating and employing the Politics of divisive, fear -mongering tactics ; ranging from questioning Obama's Patriotism .. thinly disguised label of not being an American , associations with unsavoury characters ; the likes of radical 60's Ayer (now Professor ) when Obama was 8 years old , and an ex PLO ---all these McCains camp say makes him a terrorist , an Arab .. a Muslim and even a Socialist because Obama he said is touting a Socialist Economic Approach to Tax Cuts which would 'redistribute wealth and raise Taxes on the uber rich .and Corporation billionaires .
*Obama's Proposals throughout his Campaign trail has been 95% Tax cut for all Americans , no tax demand on anyone earning below $250000 a year . McCain does not see the need in taxing anybody especially a time of financial crisis .

McCain sees Obama's Tax Plans as just another Government give away . THERE LIES THE BIG IRONY between both Candidates Economic Policies.
The Taxpayers Bailout of the Economy to the tune of $700bn , pushed by Bush , Supported by McCAIN and ratified by Congress some weeks ago cannot be called by any other Name .... but ... Socialism . The Capitalist American Financial Crisis , the worst since the Depression had to be bailed out by the Peoples Money ! As McCain himself would say ; that my friend is ..SOCIALISM .


*Taxes however are determined by government spending , not by temporary changes in tax codes . It is thought that McCain's
never -ending near hysterical chest -pounding stance of pre-emptying wars will cause SPENDING to escalate by much more
than OBAMA's social Safety Nets . This means that McCain's extra Military and Moralistic Big Government is much worst than Obama's Big Economic Government .

The simple truth is that Obama's Prposals is a Progression of the Tax System which McCains Republican supports . In essence , 'Joe the Plumber "- Joe Wurzelbacher of Ohio ( who is actually not a registered plumber ) has since become McCain's symbolic portrayal of what he perceives to be concernOn s about Obama's Tax plans. .


Both Candidates have again different rescue plans for BESIEGED HOME OWNERS who can no longer afford to pay their MORTGAGES .
* McCain proposes a Government ' BUY UP ' of all such LOANS and re-work the terms as such Home owners can afford . TALK OF SOCIALISM ; AND THE POT CALLING KETTLE BLACK . ( Excuse the Pun ) !
*Obama 's Proposal is a moratorium of 3 months ( 90 days ) GRACE on all such BESIEGED HOMEOWNERS after which the terms of their loan would be re-negotiated . Both proposals let homeowners remain in these houses during the periods of re-negotiations and terms re-work .

ON HEALTH CARE : At a time most Employers shift Health Care costs to their Employees ,* Obama 's plan means Employers offer Health Insurance or contribute a % of payroll to a Public Plan for those without access to Employers iNSURANCE ; and nobody would be denied access due to Per existing Medical Condition .

* McCain 's would end Income tax break workers currently enjoy . Instead , will provide Tax Credits up to $2500 to individuals and $5000 to families to purchase their own coverage . This is so that any one denied coverage because of Pre -existing medical condition s could then buy insurance through FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SUPPORTED GUARANTEED ACCESS PLANS WITH INCOME BASED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE .

Again , this is saying ; 'what I give to you with one hand , I take with another . Simply put , VOTERS WILL BE MEANS TESTED BEFORE GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE IF ANY .

* ON SOCIAL ISSUES ; McCain is a strong opponent of Abortion Rights --- Legal in cases of Rape or Incest and to Protect Life BUT NOT the Mother's Health . ; whereas His running mate Sarah Palin takes no prisoners on this . Palin does not support Abortion in any circumstance.
EXTREME VIEWS LIKE THIS AND ON FOREIGN AFFAIRS WHERE PALIN CAN SEE PUTIN FROM HER ALASKAN BACKYARD , A STUDIOUS DESCIPLE OF GEORGE BUSH OF " IF YOU ARE NOT WITH US , YOU ARE AGAINST US .....AXIS of EVIL MENTALITY -----THESE ARE PRECISELY THE REASONS PALIN WAS PLUCKED FROM ALASKAN OBSCURITY TO RUN AS 'REPUBLICAN VICE PRESIDENT
Forget the general idea of attracting women voters which wasn't particularly successful, She is a pacifying offering on the Altar of Neo Conservative Republican Base which has never trusted McCain and viewed him as an 'outsider '. Palin with her vitriolic , war - mongering , polarising extreme views on a gamut of issues has since duly energised McCains Campaign but , alienate a chunky Section of American voters who have come to see her as 'INEXPERIENCED' . An Early accusation labelled on OBAMA .

Recriminations of her DIVA attitude ; of veering off script , posturing herself in pole position as Republican leader in 2012 in case McCain looses is rife within her Campaign Camp . Talk of counting your chicken before they are hatched . It ain't over until the fat lady sings .

Both support states initiative to ban gay marriages especially in California and Arizona .
* OBAMA support's a woman's Right to Choose to have an abortion . Same sex couples should be able to enter into Civil Unions with all the legal benefits of marriage ; but believes marriage should be reserved for the union of man and woman .
WHY DO I SENSE THIS IS AN UNCOMFORTABLE SUBJECT FOR OBAMA !

**IN FOREIGN POLICY : Both Candidates have their ready -made bogey man with which to attack each others policies . President Ahmadinejad of Iran for McCAIN and President Bush for OBAMA .
* Obama's persistence all time message throughout this campaign has been that a vote for McCain is one for Bush , political twin brothers .... like saying" Batman without Robin is incomplete . This famously led hot tempered McCain to tell Obama . " I am no George Bush ....you should have run for President four years ago if you wanted George bush " .

* Why Obama would even contemplate to jaw - jaw with Ahmadinejad , one of George Bush triangle of axis of evil , a man who McCain thinks called Israel a 'stinking corpse', threatened to wipe Israel off the map , (as if any one can , 2nd or 4th world strongest nuclear power ? ....and numero uno American ally) ; and sends explosive devices to Iraq killing Americans , angers McCain . This stance is partlly to canvass American Jewish vote...especially FLORIDA .

While McCain advocates an indefinite American stay in war ravaged Iraq ,Obama favours a measured gradual withdrawal so the Iraquis can self govern .Bus Defence Secretary - Robert Gates agrees with Obama . and contended that United States have been bogged down in iraq and in the event , squandering its international prestige .

Overall , Obama on this Campaign has displayed more than basic charisma which has accentuated an intellectual power , deep interest and knowledge in issues , good judgement , poise under fire and able to envisage the small and big pictures of a better America . That he has surmounted the race / political barrier to be where he is today , says a lot of the mettle of the man .

FOR OBAMA , LET'S HOPE HIS PREDICTED VICTORY ON THE 4TH NOVEMBER IS NOT SNATCHED BY THE JAWS OF DECEITFUL
...'BRADLY EFFECT ...SHAD HANGING ....TAMPERED VOTING MACHINES ..........
